
Dutch company Spranq has designed a brand new typeface called Ecofont that uses 20 percent less ink by simply removing as much of each letter as possible, while still leaving it readable.
You can see how the Ecofont is created by omitting parts of the letter. At the shown size, it does not look very nice, but at a regular font size it is actually very usable. Printing with a laser printer will give the best printing results.
